About
bioinformatics.tools is a free set of calculators for the everyday arithmetic of molecular biology: reverse complements, melting temperatures, ligation ratios, dilutions, alignments, dose-response fits.
How it works
Each tool is one page of JavaScript that runs in the browser. Sequences and measurements stay in the tab and are never sent to a server. There is no account, no quota and no job queue, and a page keeps working offline once it has loaded.
What to expect
- The answer first. Tables, fit statistics and extra options are one tap away.
- Built for phones at the bench as much as for a desktop.
- Each page states the method or formula it uses, so a result can be checked by hand.
Accuracy
The tools are meant for planning and quick checks. Verify a result independently before it decides an experiment, and never use one for clinical decisions. See the terms.
